United in Prayer, Unlimited in Power As We Link to the Father

P-LS Newsletter for March 2012
Several years ago, I requested a friend to create a website for our prayer ministry called, Prayer-Life Seminars (P-LS). Seeing the necessity of…

"That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,
And tell of all Your wondrous works." - Psalm 26:7, NKJV
While Thanksgiving is not traditionally celebrated in Japan, the Christian community and those who are familiar with this western tradition, do remember and celebrate it. Our church, for example, is slated to have one this coming Sunday on…

Thank you very much for keeping us in your prayers.
Since the tragic events in Japan on March 11th, many people have been confirmed dead, surpassing the death toll recorded in the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995 in Kobe, Japan. Moreover, some 13,000 people are still missing or are presumed dead. This number doesn't include those who have never been reported as missing -- like those from the coastal towns that were obliterated by the tsunami.…

Today, I'd like to share two testimonies with you.
Firstly, about Ron Brown.
He is a saxphone player and has been playing with famous musicians, like Stievie Wonder, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Duke Ellinmgton etc...
Last month, on the 17th he came to Kumamoto, played his music and shared his testimony with us in a Gospel Concert.
Many years ago he suffered from illegal drugs.
He entered a medical facility to stop abusing…

Hi, everyone.
I live in Kumamoto and can introduce about it.
Today I'd like to share a story with you.
It's all about what two women did for Japanes patients.
Some of you might already know this story.
Hannah Riddell came to Japan in 1890 as a missionary from London.
One day she went out to see cherry blossom with Japanese friends in Honmyo temple.
There she saw many lepers gathered under the trees to beg for…

Hi everyone,
I am unofficially translating many English gospel songs into Japanese.
Like I said, it's unofficial, I don't know what kind of permission you need to have to officially translate gospel songs....I thought I want to share with u some of the easiest songs I have translated, so that you can praise God in Japanese in your own time. It is truly wonderful to praise God in different languages, more so if your first language is Japanese.
So…

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came…
