Psalm 116:15 (New King James Version) -
"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints."
Several days ago, Gordon Tippett posted a eulogy for her friend Kathryn. I thought it's also appropriate to mention here some of those who passed away as a way to remember and honor them.
You probably have read the note I added entitled, "Prayer Alert!" It was originally sent by our sister in Canada, Susan Sanchez concerning Len, her brother-in-law.

Not long after that message, however, Len (a former chaplain to the Canadian Regiment) passed away. Susan wrote that the
"family was very grateful to God for the way He put everything in order during the funeral and interment service."
On something that is closer to home, it's still very fresh in our memories the tragic death of my five-year-old nephew, Isaac Ricohermoso two years ago. In what was supposed to be a happy occasion, my brother Robert's family went to our hometown before the opening of the new school year to cap a two-month vacation for the children. They arrived in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque, Philippines at around six o'clock in the morning and three hours later, they were holding the dying body of their fourth child. He was ran over by a rogue truck passing by on the street in front of our parents' house. It happened on May 25th.
1 Corinthians 15:55 (NKJV) -
“ O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) -
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Philippians 1:21 (NKJV) -
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
