I need your prayers for my Sister Evelyn since her husband Len was brought to the Hospice yesterday morning. Actually, he was diagnosed of lung cancer since since last year and has been in pallaive care since Feb 24 this year. However, his condition started to get worst last week thus, the doctor advised them to bring him to the hospice so he can be given round the clock care.
I've talked to my sister yesterday and she is so restless and confuse. Of course she wanted her husband to live more and doesn't want to think that he's near death now for that is too painful for her. This is why she is so worried about how much time is left with her husband and so i encouraged her to leave that up to God and just trust in Him. Easy for me to say that but i know and i can feel what she is going through right now.
I can understand how she felt the moment she stepped inside their apartment after bringing he husband to the hospice. She can imagine now how it feels like living in that place without him. They have been married for 14 years and Len is not just a husband. He's her best friend and a mentor. He's the only family she has in Canada for 14 years so we can imagine the unbearable pain of living without him.
Please pray for me as i am going to Ottawa on May 15. Evelyn wanted me to get there now abut i still have duty to attend to.
Thanks for praying with me and May God's Will be Done!
